Detox – It’s key to begin detoxification, getting rid of toxin from our body. Our body metabolism has done that process, but in each day life we are exposed to so numerous chemical hazards from air, food and environment. Fasting or merely consuming fruits and vegetables are ways to detoxify our body.

Sleep – Having enough sleep at least 6-8 hours a day will make our skin healthier. Having a good sleep is also key because growth hormone is working during that time. It renews the old cell of our body, include the skin cell. Our skin will look fresh and young if we have enough sleep.

Fresh Fruit Facials for Healthy Skin

Wednesday, September 16th, 2009

I was having tea with a friend final week, and we were discussing our extensive skin care regimens. As we were exchanging tips and advice, I realized that I have amassed a virtual recipe box of facials that can be done using fresh fruit. As there are numerous of you out there that could benefit from this knowledge, I have decided to share my insights.

One of my favorites is the peach facial, which works very well as a tightening mask. Simply take a ripened peach, and remove the skin and the pit from the center. Place the peach and the whites from a single egg in a blender, and whip until smooth. Pat the mixture onto your face, and grant it to sit there for 30 minutes. Rinse with cold water.

I have found that the apple mask is very good for normal skin. Peel, core, and quarter an apple. Chop the apple in your blender, and add 2 tablespoons of honey. Blend until smooth. Then remove the mixture from the blender, and refrigerate for approximately ten minutes. Apply the mixture to your face using a patting motion, and be sure to pat until the honey becomes tacky. Leave it on for about 30 minutes, and rinse with warm water.

I have also had great success with a Strawberry mask that my Grandmother told me about. The trick here is to use extremely ripe Strawberries. Add approximately ½ cup of strawberries and a ¼ cup of cornstarch to the blender, and mix until smooth. Apply the mixture to your face, and be careful to avoid the area around your eyes. Leave it on for 30 minutes, and rinse it off with cool water.

The next facial mask is excellent for blemished skin. Chop a ripened tomato into small pieces, and place it in your blender. Add 1 tablespoon of lemon juice and some instant oatmeal or rolled oats. Mix until it is all combined. Do not mix for too long, as it will not stick to your face. If it gets too thin, simply add more oatmeal. Apply the mixture, and leave it on for ten minutes. Scrub it off using a warm, wet cloth.

There are numerous different ways to care for your skin, and as numerous different products on the market. In my experience, the most natural treatments provide the ideal results. Try to avoid products that have heavy perfumed scents or appear to use poor quality ingredients. These all natural fruit facials have worked wonders for me. I hope you enjoy them.

Abdominoplasty: The Tummy Tuck

Monday, September 14th, 2009

Abdominoplasty, or a “tummy tuck,” is a cosmetic surgery designed to correct a protruding abdomen that might result from weak abdominal muscles, weight gain, or pregnancy. These conditions might not respond well to diet or exercise if the skin and underlying muscles have been stretched, which makes this surgery possibly a necessity for someone who wants a decent shape back.

With a tummy tuck, the abdominal wall muscles are tightened and excess fatty tissue and skin are removed to improve the body’s shape and appearance. The goal is a narrower, flatter abdomen. Realistic expectations are important, and contrary to some beliefs, a tummy tuck is not a alternative for weight loss. Dieters ought hit their best weight before going in for this procedure, and a woman who plans to become pregnant again in the future ought wait until she is completed having untried children, otherwise this surgery might merely be a waste of money.

Antibiotics will be prescribed prior to surgery to prevent infection. To minimize the possibility of excess bleeding, you will require to avoid taking drugs containing aspirin. You will also be advised to bathe with an antiseptic soap for many days prior to surgery. Abdominoplasty is performed using general anesthesia. Some physicians might give you medication beforehand to help you feel relaxed. Surgeries generally take anywhere from 2-5 hours, depending on the patient’s health and condition. Recovery time also varies greatly.

Some swelling and anguish is normal after surgery, and general pain pills will help to get through this more comfortable. The physician will provide the instructions you require for changing bandages, showering, and general care. As with any other medical surgery, it is always key to follow the doctor’s orders. The scars take time to fade, but they will fade over time. This is the cosmetic surgery that might take the most recovery time, but to someone who has been plagued by a “fat gut” despite doing everything right know how rewarding this procedure can be for them. A good diet and normal exercise routine after the surgery (and recovery time) will be of great benefit.

What Causes Cellulite And How To Prevent It

Saturday, September 12th, 2009

It is a basic knowledge that the appearance of cellulite is more basic in women; and their age is of minor importance here since cellulite is often caused by hormonal disorders.

During the onset of puberty the body begins to produce hormones, including female ones that are responsible for formation of adipose tissue and might damage circulation and drainage in the tissues under the skin.

However, abnormal changes in tissues can be avoided if hormonal disorders are taken care of on the early stages. The young bodies can defend themselves better; and such disorders in teens are caused mostly by changes in metabolic process and thus are of temporary nature.

A number of factors can cause cellulite, however, the main causes are hereditary factors and unhealthy lifestyle. Hereditary factor can’t be denied since there are too numerous examples of this abound. What is more, however paradoxical it might seem, family upbringing plays a important role in why we live an unhealthy lifestyle. The expression unhealthy lifestyle has an extensive meaning and includes a number of factors characteristic of human beings. In this connection the Oriental wisdom ought be mentioned: in Orientalism the harmony and ways to achieve it were explored for years. The life is conceived by Oriental people as the unity of light yang and dark yin. There is no telling that yang is good and ought exist, while yin is bad and ought be got rid of. Such approach is typical of a Westerner accustomed to oppose good to evil. A Chinese or Japanese, however, sees no conflict here, and accepts the world as is, with any seeming contradictions.

In fact, who can state for sure what is improved and what is worse: warmth or cold, day or night, man or woman? These are indivisible and interconnected components of our world that form the world order – Dao. And a human’s aim is to cognize Dao, and achieve harmony by adjusting the life to the naturalness of the world. It surely needs numerous efforts, and we have to rid ourselves step by step of vileness in us.

If we think about this want from the point of view of our flesh, we might come to numerous questions. And the 1st of them is what the right and healthy diet is?

What’s in Lipstick?

Thursday, September 10th, 2009

Recently, I figured out that if I applied lipstick that my face would grow to 2 times its regular size. If I wiped off the lipstick, I could get my head back almost into its regular shape. I did not have a lot of time to figure out what was in lipstick but I put it down to fragrance and some of the others on the ingredient list.

One day I was so exhausted of not wearing lipstick that I went to a drugstore to obtain out. I took my small daughter. Within a couple of mins of being in the make-up aisle, my daughter started to have her head grow to twice its regular size and she did not even have lipstick on. I went over to the counter and asked the girl, what was in lipstick and make-up to make both myself and my daughter have allergic reactions? I was still at that point considering that maybe a certain make would not have whatever the ingredient was in it.

She smiled at me, started to show me the book of elements that nobody can truly read without a dictionary and then she looked from me to my daughter and finally said, “The shimmer in lipstick is from ground up fish and shellfish. It doesn’t come out and state that on the lipstick ingredients.”

I almost fainted. I could not believe that something that people have as an anaphalaxis type allergy is not marked on all of the make-up.

Still, I perservered. “What kind doesn’t have it in it?” I asked, assuming that 1 of the thirty brands would give me a break.

“None of them,” she assured me. “It’s not marked down anyway. There is a huge word for it.”

“What about lip gloss?” I asked.

“No,” she said. “Whale blubber. Sorry. Allergy medicine is in aisle five.”

So, off we went to go get some medicine and some fresh air. This news sent me realing. Why is not this in the media? Why doesn’t anyone know about what is in lipstick and lots of other kinds of make-up? I realized too that potentially all kinds of men and owmen do not know about the risks included in simply freshening up their lips. I mention men because of the kissability factor.

I went onto speak to friends and relatives. Did you know…? Nobody did. I only recently met someone who had an inkling of what I was speaking about. Her father worked in a lipstick factory all of his working career.

Unless a make-up line specifically states that it does not have animal byproducts in it, then the shimmer is most in all probability caused by ground up fish and seafood. Not that they are apparently aiming to include the seafood but much like the tuna trapped in a huge net with other creatures of the sea, same problem.

For those of you who have allergies, seek out cosmetic companies such as Mary Kaye who do have that guarantee. There are many other lines that will promise this no animal byproducts such as Body Shop. Remember that while you might not have this allergy yourself, your child could have this allergy, your husband, boyfriend or your co-workers.
